Never compromise on quality
That’s the Higo quality mindset. The reliability and quality of the connection is Higo’s number one priority. For the moulding proces, Higo chooses to use high-quality plastics reinforced by fine glass fibers.
Higo also works with spring-loaded, gold plated female contacts for high power connectors to ensure a 360° contact area between male and female contact, also during vibration. Gold plating keeps the contact resistance as low as possible between male pin and female spring-loaded contact.
For the integration of cables, Higo follows international standards and directives.
Testing & training
Higo is equipped with more than 40 sets of testing and inspection equipment to verify the electrical, mechanical and environmental performance of ebike connectors.
The staff receives intensive training to manage and monitor the various production processes and techniques before they start working at Higo.
Quality monitoring
After each step in the production process, a quality check is performed. Only when the result is positive, the connector proceeds to the next production step. After the last production step, an end-of-line test follows in which the entire product is electrically tested and visually checked. This is done for each product (100%) before it leaves to the packaging department. By applying this strictly, we can guarantee a reliable connection for your application.
Quality inspection at A&C
When Higo connectors arrive at the A&C Solutions' warehouse, the team performs a quality check based on the project drawing. This includes both a visual and a technical specs check on wire placements and length of the cable.
Quality certificates
Both Higo's production facility in Suzhou and A&C Solutions in Belgium are ISO 9001 & ISO14001 certified. Additionally, Higo works according to IATF16949 and the IPC quality standard and can also manufacture ebike connectors and cable harnesses according to UL approval. From incoming materials to shipping inspection, Higo strictly monitors quality according to these international standards.
